Juliana Lawrence
Juliana was the 1st lab undergraduate to complete an honor's thesis.  A member of our Honor's college, she completed a multilocus assessment of connectivity among estuarine populations of the sea slug A. willowi by developing microsatellite primers and generating data for populations along the known range of the species.  The molecular tools she developed are being used by other students to examine patterns of paternity within clutches and mechanisms of sexual selection in the species.

Juliana is currently attending Yale medical school.
